Climbing the Speaking Ladder
In exploring these organizations, we are going to look at five questions: What is the opportunity? Why are affiliated organizations important? Where do you find these groups? How to you get invited to speak? How do you make money? None of these opportunities should be considered “disposable.” Whenever you speak, you want to get invited back again and again, year after year. As you move up the ranks, you may not be able to continue to work the lower levels, but you never abandon a position at a lower level until your position at a higher level is secured. We explore ten different types of customers; each is a higher level as you rise through the ranks of speaking.
